Applied Cognitive Solutions (ACS) offers technology consulting, including eDiscovery and litigation support, related to our core services of computer forensics and computer data recovery. We have assisted clients in projects such as:

• Determining the cost of providing electronic evidence from multiple legacy back-up systems in various sites and on different platforms
• Establishing back-up procedures and systems
• Assisting in the development of disaster recovery policies

• Participating in client teams managing complex computer data recoveries and data restorations

With our experience in digital forensics and data recovery, ACS offers a unique perspective. Our specialized knowledge augments the expertise of corporate IT staff and external consultants. We are currently focusing on assisting firms with managing information life cycles for litigation and eDiscovery.

At ACS we work from a letter of agreement and bill project time and expenses against an initial retainer. Our basic weekday rate is $200.00 per hour for technical and project management consultants, with higher rates for senior staff. Administrative time is $100.00 per hour. Rates are higher for work performed during evenings, on weekends, or during holidays.
